The lion dance is performed by 2 dancers, forming the back and fore legs of the lion is seen perfected in the exhibitions of Chinese acrobats. The dance is traditionally accompanied by gongs, drums and firecrackers. It is believed to bring luck and prosperity. This is the puppet version of the lion.
